Today, we will start our 5 days desert excursion from Marrakech by traveling to the Dades Valley after breakfast. On this trip, we will drive to explore Skoura Oasis and the stunning Valley in Kalaat M'Gouna, where the Rose Festival is held annually in May.
It is an occasion to celebrate and display a portion of the local culture, including art and music. Before moving to Boutaghrar, where you will encounter hospitable Berber families who still live in caves, you will have the chance to take lovely pictures and take in the scenery at the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs.
We'll continue to Dades Gorge after lunch, where you can see the striking rock formation ''Monkey Toes'' and the extremely old Kasbah Ait Yul. Dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel or riad in Dades.
Following breakfast at the hotel, we'll depart in the direction of Tinghir, passing through Boumalne Dades and stopping to admire the breathtaking view of the Dades valley. The Todra gorges will be reached after passing through Imider and Tinghir.
Along the way, you'll make frequent stops to take pictures and enjoy the surroundings. You can stroll through the narrow valleys of Todra Gorges while admiring the mesmerizing canyon scenery.
